RETRAX · Michael J. Ouellette

This system is a small wheel attached to the inside of a snowmobile ski. A Snowmobile weighs up to 700 lbs and is very difficult to move when there is no snowcover. The skis have carbide runners that dig into the ground for stability, when a operator needs to cross the highway, load in a trailer, or go in and out of a garage with no snowcover the carbides bite in and make it very difficult to move, the RETRAX system will deploy the wheels and make it very simple to move across the highway to a gas station, protect the floor of your garage and trailer. Carbide runners are very expensive to replace and RETRAX is permanently mounted and easy to use. This saves on your back from moving a 700 lb peice of equipment around with just brute force.
